This weeklong celebration honours the scrumptious blackberry. An open-air market, games for the kids, and a street party are just some of the activitties. Local restaurants as well as special venues feature an abundance of delicious blackberry treats that are too good to resist. The Blackberry Festival is held yearly in August.
Highlights of the festival, are the popular "Street Party" featuring musicians, arts and crafts, and of course food! There's also a competition for the best homemade blackberry wine.
