The City of Burnaby, in association with Public Dreams Society, presents the Night of 2008 Lights Lantern Festival. In the tradition of Public Dreams' Illuminares evemt held each year at Trout Lake, a magical community lantern procession winds its way around Deer Lake Park. Led by African djembe drummers, participants encounter whimsical performances and magnificent illuminated lantern installations along the route. A spectacular fire show on the upper terrace concludes this magical evening.

Free onsite milk carton workshops from 3:30 - 7:00
