The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a new attraction in Whistler showcasing the living cultures of the Squamish and Lil'wat First Nations. Meet with Squamish and Lil'wat people; experience our culture through exhibits, art, food, language, interactive activities and engaging performances, in our traditional territory, in a magnificent forest and mountain setting.
The exhibits tell of our long history in the territory, of our relationship to the land, and all that lies within it. Take a self-guided tour, strike up a conversation with our Squamish and Lil'wat hosts or with a resident artist and explore our precious historical artifacts in our Class A exhibit space.
Travel through time and get a glimpse of our territory through the magic of film in our 80 seat theatre. Join us in song and dance. Celebrate our arts and culture with us. Open June 21, 2008. Located in Whistler's upper village at 4584 Blackcomb Way.
